SAILING CLUB PREPARES FOR THE 2009 SAILING SEASON
As can be seen from the Presentation Night the 2008 Sailing Season was highly successful.Now Broome Sailing Club is gearing up for an even better year of sailing in 2009, and much work is going on behind the scenes to facilitate this. The club year will begin with an AGM starting at 18:30 on Tuesday 10th March at BRAC. Please come on down, anyone who is interested in sailing. NB: we are not just looking for sailors but also people willing to lend a hand with our events.
The 2009 Sailing Season will run from April through to November, and the Sailing Calendar provides details.
The Club sails a mixed fleet of catamarans and dinghies from the beach at Gantheaume Point, and provides comprehensive sail training for all age groups in addition to its racing program.
The club provides excellent, on-the-beach, facilities at Gantheaume Point at our mobile club house - including shade, seating, hot food and refreshments.
